Seviya Custard Kheer |
Ingredients
- Seviya - a bowl
- Milk - 1 liter
- Custard Powder - 5 tablespoon
- Sugar - 15 tablespoon
- Ghee - 2 tablespoon
- Nuts - almond, raisins, walnut etc.
Here I have shared the recipe of seviya custard kheer:
- Boil the milk for time being so that it get a bit thick.
- Put 3 tbsp ghee in pan and fry the seviyan until it turns browner.
- After the seviyan becomes brown put the hot milk in the pan.
- Add sugar and mix them well.
- In the mean time take some water in a bowl and add 3 tbsp custard powder.
- Mix it thoroughly so there should be no lumps left.
- Then add the custard into the heating kheer.
- Seviya becomes thick then add some nuts like almond and raisins to the kheer.
- Let it cool.
- Put it in the refrigerator.
- Serve cold and garnish with some more nuts.
Seviyan Custard Kheer Recipe Tips:
- Do not mix the custard powder directly to the kheer to avoid lumps.
- Seviya soaks milk therefore small bowl of seviya needs around 1 liter of milk.
